This year the ADAS Workshop will be held in Warsaw. This is a new destination for the workshop and our first in a large city. Łazienki Park, the royal summer residence of King Stanislaw August, and many museums are nearby.

PRELIMINARY AGENDA: The draft agenda is here. Note that, as usual, this will be adjusted by the time of the meeting. If you wish to give a presentation at the workshop, please contact us.

TIME AND PLACE: The ADAS Workshop will be held at the REGENCY HOTEL, ul. Belwederska 23, 00-761 Warszawa, Poland. It will start at 9am on Monday 29th, but we will gather at the hotel on Sunday afternoon/evening, and finish in the evening of Tuesday 30th.

ACCOMMODATION: The REGENCY hotel is the official conference site and the cost of the accommodation (with breakfast) is 420 PLN plus VAT (€125) per night. A reservation with a special conference rate is available by emailing, or calling +48 22 558 1234. The code "ADAS Conference" will guarantee the reduced rate until 21st August.

A cheaper alternative is START hotel Aramis* at 170 PLN per night. The booking number 107901 has a small number of reserved rooms on a first come, first served basis.

The location is in central Warsaw, where there is no shortage of alternative hotels.

COSTS: There is no registration fee for the workshop but there is a 175 PLN plus VAT (€55) facility fee cost per day which includes lunch.

Hotel and facility costs for ADAS Project steering committee members will be paid by the ADAS Project although if it is possible to be covered by your laboratory, it would help ADAS finances. Other participants will need to pay their own way.

TRAVEL: Participants will need to cover their own travel costs to the meeting.

There are good public transport links between the Chopin Warsaw airport or the Warszawa Centralna Railway Station and the hotel — ZTM. Taxis are also plentiful.

VISA INFORMATION: If you need a visa to visit Poland please contact us for a letter of invitation and any other documentation required.

PROCEEDINGS: The workshop is an informal meeting, which traditionally does not publish its proceedings. Many people like to present material which is not yet ready for a wider audience. However we offer the opportunity to make the talks available on the ADAS website. This is completely at the discretion of the presenter.

ENQUIRIES: The workshop is organized jointly by the University of Strathclyde and Narodowe Centrum Badań Jądrowych.
