ADAS Workshop 2016

The 2016 ADAS Workshop will be held 29–30 September, 2016 in Korea with NFRI kindly hosting the meeting.

South Korea location map

This is our first workshop in Korea. It is also the first time that we have followed on from a larger meeting, ICAMDATA 2016, and we hope that this makes it easier for people to attend. We have made the workshop a little shorter, one and a half days, so that both meetings fit into one week.

TIME AND PLACE: The ADAS Workshop will be held in the second floor Meeting Room, Plasma Technology Research Center of the National Fusion Research Institute in Gunsan. It will start at 14:30am on Thursday 29th September and finish late afternoon on Friday 20th.

ACCOMMODATION: The recommended hotel is Best Western, Gunsan and a number of rooms have been reserved for us by NFRI. The simplest way to reserve accommodation is to fill in this form and email (or fax) it direct to the hotel.

COSTS: There is no registration fee for the workshop.

Hotel and facility costs for ADAS Project steering committee members will be paid by the ADAS Project although if it is possible to be covered by your laboratory, it would help ADAS finances. Other participants will need to pay their own way.

TRAVEL: Participants will need to cover their own travel costs to the meeting.

There is comprehensive information on traveling to Gunsan at the ICAMDATA 2016 conference webpage. Click here for details on flights, travel within Korea and many more practical details.

VISA AND INVITATION LETTERS: If you need a visa to visit Korea, or a letter of invitation to attend the workshop, please contact us.

MEETING AGENDA: It is our usual practice to try to have most participants make a presentation so if there is something you would like to present then please let us know. We can adapt the agenda up to the start of the meeting.

PROCEEDINGS: The workshop is an informal meeting, which traditionally does not publish its proceedings. Many people like to present material which is not yet ready for a wider audience. However we offer the opportunity to make the talks available on the ADAS website. This is completely at the discretion of the presenter.
